What does it take to be part of SCDF?

This afternoon, I attended class and saw that one of my classmates had a slogan T-shirt on that read,

“Do not question what your country can do for you. Instead, ask yourself what you can do for your country.”

This evening, I came home and realized that I had a SCDF advert to do. Tell me that’s not a sign!

SCDF -
Watching over the lives of 5 million people in Singapore.

Read an interview with a firefighter here and my trip to central fire station here

So we all know that they’re the courageous everyday heroes who will be the last to leave a scene of chaos and tragedy when everyone rushes to leave, but also the first to arrive in times of need…

But what you probably don’t know is –

What does it take to be part of a life saving force that is SCDF?

(besides the obvious – courage and passion)

For people out there considering new career options or simply a whole new take on life, this could be an enlightening opportunity for you to know more about SCDF and the pre-resiquites of being part of this special team.

Umm… I wonder if they will consider a blogger?
